“Sarah has been tutoring our 8 year old daughter since September. Sarah has a lovely way with children making them feel safe and secure. She has built a lovely relationship making it easy for our daughter to engage with her and with this we have noticed an improvement not only in her work but her confidence too. Sarah quickly noticed what support we needed from her and has worked each week to help our daughter improve with English and Maths. I would highly recommend anyone who is wanting a home tutor to contact Sarah.”

“My daughter (13) has not attended school for a long time, due to emotional based school avoidance and autistic burnout. I was very keen for her to access some education that met her needs, but without the boundaries of a standard education setting. I spoke with Sarah over messages, then over the phone, before my daughter and I met with Sarah. We agreed a loose plan, that was child centred and something that was flexible, depending on how she coped with a new person and re-introducing education. Sarah has shown patience and thought outside of the box, to be able to start to get my daughter to engage again. To see my daughter being excited about a project is beyond believable, but she is.

It has not been an easy task, but Sarah’s communication and ideas have been fantastic. It’s is a breath of fresh air to work with someone who shows care and understanding. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone facing the challenges that we have with education. My daughter looks forward to her weekly visit from Sarah. She enjoys planning her next session and amazes us each week. The working relationship that has been built is incredible. Thank you, Sarah. You have given me hope again, given my girl focus and access to education. It is very much appreciated ❤️⭐️”

“Our 6 year old struggles with his confidence in writing and before the summer he was getting extremely upset about this at school. Sarah has helped with his letter formation and helped to fill in any gaps from his Y1 learning. She has given him ways to remember how to spell tricky words and explains these to us so we can help at home. His confidence has improved immensely and he writes at home for fun now. He looks forward to his sessions with Sarah and she makes sure they are fun and interesting. If you are considering having a tutor you definitely won’t be disappointed with Sarah.”

“We were looking for a tutor in the holidays to help our son (who is aged 6 and going into Year 2 in September) with his phonics, reading and writing. I came across Sarah’s page on Facebook and set up a trial session so they could meet and see how they worked together, as our son can be quite shy at first. Sarah made the session fun for him and he was engaged for the full hour and pleased with his sticker at the end.

We then had Sarah come a couple of times a week over the summer as he looked forward to their sessions. Sarah always tailored the sessions to how my son was managing that day and kept him interested and working well throughout them. My son would show me his work at the end and read back a sentence he had written, or describe a drawing he had done with pride. Sarah has definitely helped him with his confidence in writing and reading, even over a relatively short time. We always organised our times in advance and Sarah is punctual. She has a good manner with children, is friendly, but also has a way of keeping them focused and working. I would definitely recommend Believe tuition.”

“We are a home educating family and our girls love a maths challenge. We asked Believe Tuition to see what level the girls were working at and to provide appropriate challenges for them. She puts in so much effort to the lessons and the girls always look forward to her visits! I would highly recommend! It’s always great to hear them talk about what they did after.”
