Hi, I’m Sarah.
Welcome to Believe Tuition!

Specialisms: Primary Maths and English; KS3 Maths (Year 7-9); SEND and Home Education; Piano.
I am a qualified teacher with nearly 30 years of experience in Primary Education, including eighteen years in Senior Leadership roles and, finally, in the role of Headteacher. I am proud that Ofsted rated my school as Good, with the Outstanding grade for pupils’ personal development – something which is integral to learning and thriving. I am also a parent to three children aged 20, 18 and 14, so I truly understand the importance of helping young people feel confident and happy in their life and in their learning.
During my career, I have held a range of senior roles including English Lead, SENCO, Safeguarding Lead, and Curriculum Lead. I have supported countless children to thrive—both academically and personally—and I am experienced in working with children with additional needs, including dyslexia, ADHD and autism.
I founded Believe Tuition with a simple vision: to provide high-quality, personalised tuition that makes a real difference. I aim to help children enjoy their learning, build confidence, and make strong progress. The positive relationships I form with my pupils are at the heart of this—children quickly feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to succeed. I have carefully selected the tutors who work alongside me, ensuring that they hold the same educational beliefs and values as I do.
At Believe Tuition, we also specialise in supporting children who are not currently in school due to anxiety, emotional needs, or SEND. We work flexibly and sensitively to tailor our teaching to each individual child’s needs and personality.
I value the importance of lifelong learning. I hold three Master’s level qualifications: the NASENCO qualification; a Postgraduate Certificate in Vulnerable Learners, and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
I offer a free initial meeting for all families – a chance to get to know each other and begin a positive partnership. I look forward to learning more about how we can support your child.
Best wishes,
Sarah
